Hello! My name is Maria Martin-Olszewska.
I'm an illustrator and creator of the Mary in a bubble brand, which I have been running since 2018. I specialize in creating illustrations—both for individual commissions and for publishing and commercial projects. I also create my own collections and artistic ideas that are particularly close to me.
I work with a different kinds of techniques – from traditional to digital – so I can freely mixed style and detail in a way that best suits a specific project.

Practical information - principles of cooperation
I work with publishers, authors and creative teams to create illustrations tailored to the age and theme of the book. I use both traditional (watercolor, ink, gouache, colored pencils) and digital techniques (Procreate, Photoshop)
If You're looking for a reliable and experienced illustrator for Your picture book, children story, educational title or board book - I'll be happy to help.
I work with both traditional and digital techniques, and deliver files in PDF, TIFF and JPG 300dpi formats.
I take every collaboration seriously and strive to meet agreed deadlines. I make every effort to ensure that my publications appeal to children and their parents. As a mother myself, I am well-versed in the publishing market, knowing what parents are looking for and what appeals to the youngest readers.
1. Brief and quote - we discuss the scope of work and deadlines. Based on this I prepare a quote and a basic work schedule.
2. Sketches - once we sign the agreement, I start working on sketches, which we then review together.
3. Final artwork - after feedback and adjustments, I complete the final illustrations and send the print-ready files
4. Preparing the cover - I prepare illustration for cover of the book
5. Delivery - I provide high-resolution illustrations in the formats required (TIFF, JPG, layered PSD, or PDF)
